In 2004, fellow forum member [SS] Grifter of the Sea Snipers hosted the first SOCOM Forum Oscars. The Socom 2 community on Playstation.com voted on various 'Best of' topics. I shared the title of "Best Female Player" with another superlative player, AZNgirl. The gaming clan I was with at the time, [mXm], also won "Most Fun Forum Clan" among other awards issued to mXmbers. http://clanmxm.com/forums/index.php?/topic/72-2004-socom-osca...

I came across the Through the Viewfinder group on Flickr, which looked like a ton of fun to me. The idea is that you take a macro shot of the view finder of an old camera with your digital camera. It gives a cool feeling to the images, one that you could almost fake in Photoshop. Howver, Photoshoping wouldn't be as much fun or look quite as unique.
To do this, I purchased a Duaflex camera on E-bay for $8. I then created a casing to attach my camera using w...

December 2006. I postponed meeting friends for drinks to catch the Paulson show with the under 21 crowd. Dedication, my friends.
It had been at least a year since Paulson from Midland Park, NJ had played in Delaware. I recall the Grange being especially packed that night. So packed with the windows open and the industrial fans on, everyone was still drenched in sweat. Normally pretty gross, but this was one of those shows your lucky to exp...

Summer of 2005 I went to Toronto, Canada to visit my friend Alex. Excluding a brief visit to Niagara Falls, this was my first extended stay with our neighbor to the north. There was much to see and do. Checked out the CN Tower and watched a Blue Jay's baseball game through the glass floor. Had my first ice cold refreshing pint of Stella Artois at a pub and a bowl of poutine. Browsed the goods at the Beer Store and Canadian Tiger. I enjoyed the bright blue sky dotted with cotton candy clou...

Finally, with the help of many friends, my kegerator is complete. The fridge and C02 tank were salvaged from people that wanted to get rid of them. The conversion kit was $120 from The Beverage Factory and I would highly recommend it. The parts are high quality and simple to install. The only difficult part was drilling the hole through the door, and that turned out to be a lot easier than we thought it would be.
The initial keg was Labatt Blue, mostly fo...

I was at the Linc and Jeff Garcia threw an INT, in my disgust i stomped on the closest thing near me and it was the cup holder for my seat, needless to say it went flying two rows down, they handed it back to me, and i thought it would make a great souvenier, so I took it home with me. So perhaps I have a BAD attitude, but I got a new collectable for my man cave!

It's been a nightmare of a Phillies season thus far in 2012, we are not even near the all star break and we have been a .500 team almost all season riding in the bottom of the NL East.....and the nightmare without Chase Utley and Ryan Howard, just got worse. We got news that a lack-luster season by the Ace, Roy Halladay, is caused my a grade 2 shoulder strain.&n...

Fantasy Football 2011 Season
It was a tough year in 2011...what seemed like a good draft for me, and a decent start 3-2....turned into a lousy 4-9 season!!! In the middle of the season i lost 6 straight games....seems like no matter what I did, the other team had their best week against me. Was just a frustrating season, injuries plagued me all year. I gave up the 2nd most points and was passed in the last week with 2153.1 points, and i scored 1898.9....so i just couldnt...
